Start with the parameter and sample
Water Maven is ZEAL's physical water field test kit family. The supplied catalogue previews group pH, three-way pool, chlorine, fluoride and iron kits, with a separate comparator-range image. Different views of one kit belong in its gallery; they do not represent extra test configurations.
Ask for the approved parameter list for the selected model. In particular, confirm the three-way pool kit's three tests and which chlorine measurement a chlorine kit supports. A pictured comparator does not establish universal compatibility or separate availability.
Check the method and working range
The selected method must suit the sample and the expected concentration. Review the measurement unit, working range, reading increments, sample preparation and potential interferences in the supplied instructions. Do not assume that a kit suitable for treated water is suitable for every wastewater sample.
Follow the kit instructions
Use the specified sample collection procedure, reagents, sequence and reading time. Check storage conditions and expiry information. Generic online instructions cannot replace the actual method supplied with your configuration.
Record the context
Record the sampling point, date, time, parameter, method, result and unit. Include observations that could affect interpretation. Consistent records help teams investigate changes and plan follow-up checks.
Understand what a field result establishes
A kit checks the parameters included in its configuration. Selected results do not establish all aspects of drinking-water quality. Detailed investigations or formal submissions may require further analysis using the applicable methods.
